Christian Agbobli is a full professor and vice-rector for research, creation and diffusion at Université du Québec à Montreal (UQAM). He is holder of the UNESCO Chair in Communication and Technologies for Development. As co-founder of the Group for Studies and Research Focused on International and Intercultural Communication (GERACII), Christian Agbobli had been its first director for 10 years. Specialized in international and intercultural communication, his research interests reside on issues linked to Africa, development, globalization, diaspora, media representation and uses of technology.
