Aboubakar Chedikh BEYE is Professor of Physics and Director of the Laboratory Group of Solid-State Physics and Materials Science, Cheikh Anta Diop University, Dakar (UCAD), Senegal. Professor BEYE completed his doctoral studies in France. He has more than 30 years of experience in R&D in the fields of renewable energy. After a rich academic career in Europe and Japan, Aboubaker Chedikh Beye returned to UCAD, where he is Full Professor of Physics. For many years, he represented Senegal at CAMES (Conseil Africain et Malgache pour l’Enseignement), where he was President of the Technical and Scientific Committee in Mathematics-Physics-Chemistry.
