Doris Toyou is a private fund attorney currently working at Kirland & Ellis New York. Doris is the co-chair of African Affairs at the New York City Bar Association.

Doris holds a doctoral degree (S.J.D.) with the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her dissertation was entitled Private Equity and Investor Protection in the U.S. and Europe. She also holds a master (L.L.M.) from Boston University School of Law and a Master of International Economic Law from the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris, France).
