Mouhamed Abdallah Ly is a sociolinguist and language anthropologist working at the Research Unit in Cultural Engineering and Anthropology (URICA) and at the Fundamental Institute of Black Africa (IFAN) where he is a research fellow and head of the social studies laboratory. His work touches on various subjects (social referents, public controversies, words of migration, verbal violence …) that carry identity, memory, religious and linguistic antagonisms that he strives to study.
